Question
A coworker posted several negative comments on Facebook. She said she didn’t personally like the taste of one of our products. It’s not one of my favourites either. However, it doesn’t feel right that she posted something negative about our company. Since it is her personal account, is there any issue with her making this public statement?
Answer
She should not have posted this on Facebook. Sharing negative opinions about McCain on social media conflicts with our duty to protect the Company’s reputation.
